Which one is more harmful to the car? Washing it often or not washing it for a month? I’ve got myself a new car recently, and I like it so much that I want to clean it up everytime when my car gets dirty. I was wondering if this is gonna damage my car or maybe I should just not wash it for a month?

If there is bird poop or tree sap, you need to wash it off immediately, or it will eat into your paint and be permanently damaged. Dust wouldn't do much damage, so it's not a big issue. It's ok to wash your car often as long as your wax coating is still good, just remember everytime you wash, you will risk getting swirl marks. I personally do it once every 3 weeks at home.

Trust me that this feeling of wanting to wash EACH time it gets dirty will GO AWAY pretty soon. You wont have that much of energy to wash it daily (rainy season) or weekly (at home). You will end up sending to car wash to have it done. 😁

Honestly, no idea. I am more of a casual guy on this. If I want to wash my car, then I’ll just do it. I don’t care too much about the frequency hahaha

Doesn’t matter how often you wash it, what matters is how correctly you wash it.

If there is only dust on the car, then it is definitely better not washing for a month.
