A question for fellow X50 owners. Are the issues with spare parts availability really that bad? A few neighbours and relatives own them and they don’t seem to be complaining. All they say is that only the X70 has the issue and the problems reported in media are wild card examples. Your responses are much obliged.
I have a perodua ativa, got it 21st April 2021. I'm having the exact msg as in the picture. It's shared by another person who has an ativa too. My ativa was jerking with these msgs on my dash. Sent to SC Kota Kemuning Shah Alam and its been more than a week. They tried changing the spark plugs and the coil plugs too, reset the programming but none worked. They don't have any idea what's the problem till now. Only on Thursday they are getting a technician to come to check which would be 2 weeks.

Recently I am driving a BMW X1. During traffic jam, I feel the power doesn't come instantly when I step on the accelerator, but when the power decides to come I already need to stop. I don't have this problem in my Perodua Myvi.
I've realised the 2nd car I've bought for 2 years had tampered milage (-30k km)... I don't even know which service schedule it's on now. Completely fubar
Hi, I'm looking forward to buy a used D-segment car from circa 2015. I'm torn between Nissan Teana 2.5, Mazda 6 2.5 and Accord 2.4. From journalists reviews, Teana has the best comfort and NVH, but the least desirable handling. Mazda 6 has the best dynamics but the least comfort. Accord sits somewhere in between. My mind says go for Accord or Teana but heart says Mazda 6 is too curvaliscious not to ignore it. However, I'm afraid if the ride is too jarring and bone rattling for family.
Just bought new Alza and had oil change at SC. I feel like Perodua engine oil is not smooth as shell engine oil since the oil is from Petronas. Can I switch the engine oil it to Shell? Had kelisa as my second car and based on my experience, after changed from Perodua to Shell, the engine run and sound more smooth compare to Perodua oil after 2000 km drive. Will it void my warranty because I feel Perodua Engine oil making my engine feel rough and not smooth.

Did you regret buying a car out of herd mentality? I think many people tend to buy or judge a car out of herd mentality. Before purchasing a car, we used to learn its advantages, disadvantages, brand reliability, market trend etc, to see if it meets our requirements. Then several models become candidates. As we move to the next step ---- choose one car from these candidates, however, we make the decision based on public evaluation, labels, subjective positive views excessively even ignoring the real feeling of test drive. And we buy a famous-brand and good-reputation car out of herd mentality, later we find it disappointing...but it is too late to change… I regretted buying a Mazda before...
