It has recently been reported that Malaysia spends about RM 37.3 billion on fuel subsidies but only RM 32.4 billion on healthcare! Although we all love our cheap fuel, would you be willing to pay more for fuel if the money is diverted to healthcare instead? or do you think it wouldn't make a difference?
#topicoftheday Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image with an ominous message of " Silence Will Be Broken". There is a bunch of guesses online about what car it is. Some are saying its the CKD Mercedes-AMG A35 Sedan, while others think it could be Mercedes-AMG C43. What are your thoughts on the teaser? And what model are you hoping for?
The Livan EV9, an electric SUV based on the Geely Haoyue made its debut at the 2022 Chong Qing Auto Show last weekend. The Livan EV9 comes with a smooth finish with LED Daytime Running Light across the front instead of the large grille of the Geely Haoyue. The most impressive aspect of the car is the battery swapping technology. The company will release least six models in different categories and bodies designed for the use of replaceable batteries within three years. What do you think of the Livan EV9? Do you like the design? And is the battery swapping technology something viable for the future of EVs?

The all new Perodua Alza and Toyota Veloz are deemed to be twins. Built from the same factory, having almost the same specs in every way possible, except well... the 20k difference in price. What do you think is the cause of the price difference? Are you paying the 20k more for the after sale service?
2022 Ora Cat GT launched! Will we be getting this too? The sportier version of the Ora Good Cat has been launched in China for 149,000 Yuan which is around RM98,000! This version of the Ora Good Cat looks so much better and sportier than the normal version. It produces 169HP and 250nm of torque! The design of the 2022 Ora Good Cat GT really does make it look like a miniature Porsche from the front! I think that if Great Wall Motors were to bring this Ora Good Cat GT into our market, it would be one of the best selling EV hatchbacks as it looks really sporty and that’s what the younger generation likes. What are your thoughts on the 2022 Ora Good Cat GT? Do you think that they should bring this version into Malaysia?
Spy shots of the new Honda Accord, what do you think? The next generation Honda Accord actually doesn’t look too different from the current generation as for the body shape. It comes with new headlights, a larger grille, and a more defined front bumper as well. The rear still looks pretty much the same other than the slimmer tail lights. I’ve left the pictures of the current Honda Accord as well for a comparison! Do you think that they look the same?
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 new teaser shots! What’s up with the weird body shape? I’ve just gotten my hands on the teaser shots of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and it looks weird! When I first saw the photos, I really didn't like the shape of the car at all! It looks like an elongated Volkswagen beetle to me at least. What I do like is the ducktail spoiler on the rear of the car as it looks like the spoiler that old Porsches would have. Other than that, I do not have anything else to say as it looks uglier than I expected. What do you think of the Hyundai EV6?
The KIA EV6 is launching today! What do you think about the EV infrastructure in Malaysia? The KIA EV6 will be launched today! In my opinion, I feel that the KIA EV6 is one of the best looking fully electric SUVs on the market right now! It is said that the price range for the EV6 is around RM300,000. For me, I think that this price is a bit overpriced but still fair. Other than that, I feel that the EV infrastructure is now rapidly growing in Malaysia thanks to all the manufacturers coming out with more and more EVs! Do you think that the EV6 will be a hit? What are your thoughts on the EV infrastructure in Malaysia?
The top spec Perodua Alza is only RM75k but Veloz is RM95k!! Honestly when I look through the spec I cant find any justification why there is 20k difference. Infotainment screen cost 20k ah??
