Which car should I buy? Myvi or Vios? Which long term loan should I choose? How much I should spend for a car? My salary is 5k per month now. I’m considering Myvi and Vios. Should I get a 9 years loan for a Vios?

Both cars are simple mechanisn and meant for long lasting.I say won't go wrong both models. Depends on ur fixed Expenses, everyone knows 5yrs loan tenure is good but u really alot more. U will sacrifice your lifestyle. If it does, drag it longer is alright. Holding more cashflow gives u more options. Don't forget getting a car means need to look at maintenance cost n yrly insurance. I might b extreme, i driving myvi i don't even bother look at warranty so i don't go back to sc. Rather i spent it outside n do it diy. Normal service i managed to spend Rm60 vs Rm250 in sc. These cars jz won't die. I using it for past 14yrs n ppl say my car still like new.

My advice, if you planning and confident to use the same vehicle for more than 15 years...get the the most reliable, low cost maintenance, comfortable, performance & safety. It ok to get 9years loans for vios as bank interest for international car is lower than local Malaysia car
