Had my Perodua Myvi second service in February and my next service is schedule for August 2023. However last week I found oil leaking on my porch floor where I park my car. On closer inspection it seems the oil is leaking from the oil filter or drain plug. I took my car to the Perodua workshop n they told me it's the filter and I m not the only one complaining. I bought this car 'cos Perodua cars are reliable and fun to drive. However I m disappointed that we are given sub-quality parts. My question is why is this happening. Is it because Perodua wanted to cut cost or somebody is not doing a proper job. I shudder to think if my car runs out of engine oil while outstation or on a highway. My trust for the Perodua brand had been dented.
