The original paint is the only car part that cannot be replaced (well unless you repaint or re-wrap). Therefore, in order to protect it, many people will choose waxing, coating, PPF ect. I ever do so too. But even so, usual protection is also very important. Today, I'll rundown the four things that can slowly destroy your car's paint.💁♀️
1. Overfilling petrol
When you overfill, any droplets hitting your car will damage the paint. Usually we won’t notice this, but it’ll be a cause of damage as well.
2. Ignoring bug splatters and bird poops
The car will inevitably get bug stains and bird poop during a long drive or parking in an open area. Pls dont take it lightly, the acid found in it will actually slowly eat into your paint!
3. Parking under direct sunlight
I recommend avoiding parking under direct sunlight. The heat from the sun will make your paint fade over a long period of time. 😉
4. Dust regularly
If your car has a large area of dust, pls dont write on it! Seemingly small actions can also damage your car paint. Remember that you need to clean your car rather than writing on it.🙂
