WapCar Help
Should I go for the Peugeot or Citroen car? Like their tech and design so much, and planning to buy one. Many comments said that "low resale value”, “hard to find space part”, “poor after service”, “no reliability” and etc. Do Peugeot or Citroen owners here? Hope you can drop me a suggestion.

If u like the car then get it. Be sure to do some research about the car and bear in mind no Conti cars comes problem free. I own a Peugeot 408, 7years old 240k mileage. And still drives well and confident at high speed. The longest my car was in the workshop was 3weeks which was for timing chain recall. Now you can find independent Specialist workshop for your french car with reasonable price.

Test drove twice peugeot 208 back in year 2014, i still remember the ride was good for me, and dat 1.6L N/A engine was no joke. My favourite part is the small cute steering... Did not proceed to make a booking back then because I was not mentally ready for a new loan. Back to your question, to buy or not, it is ur decision to make, if possible, test drive one... Test until u are really "convinced" by the car. People around u may have different views, but if they had never felt or touched the car, i thk it is not a wise choice to listen to them. Join peugeot/citroen owners fb group, there u will get more info about the car that u want. Hope this help

Look at it practically all car losses it’s value . Why think of selling your car before even buying it. You can afford you enjoy your ride. I own a 207 it has never put me down. I found Peugeot expert mechanic to maintain my car after warranty over. Surprised to see even Peugeot SC sometimes sents new cars to the mechanic😅. Join groups on Fb to know more about your car and contacts to spare parts mechanic and doubts. One thing never miss your services foe the lions or the lions will get hungry. Don’t overlook ATF Fluid replacement very important!

Let me make it simple. There is only one use case which you should even consider a French car: if your budget is quite power and you actually can afford a Merc, but you think by spending on a Peugeot you can enjoy the same luxury and have some money left over for maintenance. If such a case, sure, then go ahead. But I also hope you don't come back here to cry when you end up finding out you were too clever by half.
