Please fill up the tank when it is possible. Actually, there is a contraption called a fuel pump in the fuel tank. It helps to send the fuel from tank to engine. The fuel pump relies on the petrol in the tank to keep cool and lubricated. If you always keep the car on a low tank, the pump can’t stay as lubricated as it should which is damage to the pump. Failing fuel pumps will lead to poor performance, particularly with a car not accelerating smoothly or starting at all.   

Both are okay, nvm bro. Just fill up well before the gauge reaches empty and before the warning light comes on.
