Since the purchase, my thoughts about the car are:
I loved the Rondo's spaciousness as I need a 7 seater to fit in my family of 5 and including fetching my parents around town and going back to my hometown, Ipoh. The 2.0L engine certainly lives up to its expectations of lugging 7 people onboard traversing up and down the North-South Expressway. The ride is comfortable and firm giving me ample confidence despite having a full load of people and the cornering ability is never compromised. I have traversed the entire length of Malaysia and even crossed the East-West Highway and the back roads of Raub to Gua Musang and my Rondo gives me the confidence and safety to reach my destinations in these far-flung places. If higher speed beyond our legal speed limit is required, my Rondo is always up to the task as the pickup and maintenance of higher speeds is able to be carried out with minimal fuss showing the reliability and prowess of this GEMA engine that is shared by Kia, Hyundai Mitsubishi and Chrysler around world markets and I have even managed to climb up to Genting Highlands with a full load and my Rondo never feels short of breath. My family and even my friends commented that the high roofline and spacious interior made them feel so comfortable and MPV-like feeling whenever they sit in my car. With the comfy seats and spacious legroom, no one felt boxed up nor claustrophobic when travelling far and for long hours. I have changed my ICE to a touchscreen OEM unit and I can utilize Bluetooth to stream Spotify or play movies and still talk with calls coming in. Carrying huge or bulky items such as a bicycle, a washing machine or Ikea furniture became a breeze and makes it convenient for me to purchase large items. The nooks & crannies make plenty of spaces to store items or place drinks as cubby holes are all around the side doors. The Rondo has served me well throughout the 11 years of ownership with the normal maintenance with the official dealer service centre and changes of major wear and tear parts such as absorbers, brake discs, alternator, air cond compressor, mountings, and bushes were made with no fuss and a smile due to the reasonable pricing of the genuine parts. The parts are still available from Kia and the dealer service centre does a great job maintaining my car since I started sending it to them in 2010. Even after reaching the milestone of 11 years old and 272,000km, my Rondo still performs its tasks admirably and reliably as I am travelling from my home to work and with outstation jaunts for my family holidays carrying luggage, camping gear, heavy items, and most importantly, precious human cargo. This Rondo will continue to serve me well for many years to come as long as I take care of her.

Interesting events that happened to my car
I was driving via the East Coast Expressway to Kuantan recently when all of a sudden, the alternator broke down and stop functioning. I was about 100km away from Kuantan and I had to rely on the battery to reach my destination. Despite a harrowing journey of 1 hour which seems to be an eternity, my Rondo managed to make it through the 100km journey safely to a workshop and a relief for my family despite the fears that it may breakdown on the road, leaving us stranded. Testimony of a reliable 11 years old car I would say with pride.
