Reasons why I bought this car

To commute to work,travel on a holiday and transport things from one place to another

Car selection process

• I had a budget of: around 60k
• Models that I have considered include: Perodua Myvi & Nissan Almera

Reasons why I chose this car

Out of the three cars that met my budget and needs.I preferred this car because it stood out as the most driver focused car out of the three.It had better steering response,brakes and more safety features for the price.

User experience

• I have already done 92000 km.

I find it as a good car to use around town and long distance driving is also acceptable. It has been reliable and a good workhorse. Maintenance is not costly given the options for aftermarket parts available.

Summary

If you are looking for a small sized used car to drive around town, economical and easy to maintain, the suzuki swift is a car to consider. It may be old in terms of technology but there are plenty of aftermarket options to keep it up to date.

Interesting events that happened to my car

The ABS (anti-lock braking) light once turned on.I brought it over to a few auto repair shops to obtain the fault code from the system but it had short circuited and couldn't read the system or find any codes. One suspected that the computer processor in the anti lock braking module had burnt due to heat in the engine bay. So I  had it replaced with a used one and it solved the issue.
