It rained heavily in Malaysia recently and many cars were flooded. But I got home safely, what is the right way to drive in the rain? Let me share my personal experience.Hope can be useful for you guys!
- Caution on Waterlogged Roads
If we drive over the road in a rainstorm, there will be water on the road and we can't see the road surface. If we drive over the road rashly, not only is there a risk of water flooding into the exhaust pipe, but the tire may also be punctured by the foreign object. The easiest way is that the depth of water should not exceed the height of the exhaust pipe, and if the engine is switched off, the vehicle should not be started again.
2. Reduce speed
Rainy road area water, slippery road, the driving process is easy to skid, so this time must be reduced speed. If the speed is too fast, you will not be able to stop the car in case of emergency.
3. Eliminate fog in the car
When the windows are closed, a layer of fog will form on the windshield, affecting the driver's vision. At this time, you can turn on the defogging function, and at the same time turn on the air conditioner to lower the temperature and blow the cold air to the windshield to avoid not being able to see the vehicles in front and behind you.
