Is it necessary to replace my spare tyre if I never use it? 12 year old spare tyre still usable? Last few weeks I went to a workshop for changing my flat tyre, and the guy helped check all my tyres, including the spare tyre. He said my car is from 2008 so the spare should be replaced. But I never used the spare tyre before..why did i need to replace it? My spare tyre still can be used, right?

i have not check de yr manufacture of spare tire as i just hsd operation 2 weeks n cant de car but lucky can start car warm up, with de app .on phone, n park sssist etc ie wjy i bought Proton,as Geely techno.Given up Ptoton after saga.de previous model.Tq.

At discounted prices in tire shops.Check ur yr manuf if replacing new tires .Not many of us bothrr check ur manuf.as buy new car n belive that Proton would give new tires as all my previous csrs bougght never had been conned in this way.I didnt know until i eent check tire pressure with tire shop n they say waa ir tires new but 1yr++ manuf.Proton please do something or its like we always get de rubbish from old models n say we new Proton.Then i check de dealers testdrive car all firstbstch n als

i previously made a statement on de new X50 cars,flagship first batch that i got reg 9 Nov.They were fitted with new tires but year of manufacture is Sept 2019 for3 tires n 1 had manu in Oct.2019.I dont drive much in a year less 5 k only so de new tires should have come with de car as yr.manu 2020 minus 6 momths acceptable but 1 tr++.old.As our reader said de rubber hard n noisy n grip wont be good after say 2yrs plus...ie its already 3yrs plus.Also tires sold for old manufsctred dates are given
