The big question is owning an electric car cost quite high in Malaysia🤦♂️ All ev are import car and there's no local brand manufacture the electric car, so the price of ev high. Besides that, what do you think the maintenance fee? Battery replacement fee is not a small payment. There's why EV can't be popular in Malaysia. Not everybody can afford the cost.

So far not suitable at all yet, because Malaysia lacks the infrastructure for EV, like parking charging stations and etc.
