Drum brake vs disc brake, which is better? Why a lot of new car has drum brakes? I thought its old technology.

Disc brakes gets cool down faster and drys up quicker than drums brakes. That's enough to lead the comparison

For normal driving conditions drum brakes are more than good enough however for hard driving which requires hard braking then its definitely disc brakes and preferably slotted or cross drilled for better grip and heat dissipation.

Actually some shops can convert drum to disc brake. But actually drum brake is better is not always true. It’s enough for our day to day use, it’s fine.
