Can any car replace the X50? The Proton X50 offers too much for just RM100k, to the point where I sometimes feel they put the wrong price tag on the car. Makes it hard for me to justify cars from other brands.

unfortunately spec wise the x50 beats all other makes with a stick for 100k. (actually 110k-ish i think for the flagship) will it last 7-9 years is something thats unknown at the moment

actually the myth on lack of spares are quite untrue.... my x50 wiring harness got damage by rat biting... only took 3 days for new harness from Sham Alam to arrive & refitted (svc centre Pasir gudang, plus that time near raya puasa, i thought arrive after raya)... my point is, the svc centre play important role in pushing the Proton sparepart centre (shah alam) to deliver spares on time.... btw proton svc centre nowadays are better in svc & customer advice....peace

The best value of car is based on experience at service centre. Improve service centre then people will buy the car, bad experience at service centre will make people avoiding the car brand. For me, i need to wait about 4-5 hours at SC just to change oil even with appointment.
