Battle of the hottest Japanese B-segment hatchbacks, what’s your pick?

It seems that next year is a good year for B-segment hatchbacks. Let’s take a look at next year’s B-segment hatchback market in Malaysia!

1. New Toyota Yaris

The first out of this bunch is the facelifted Yaris. Looks cool (at least better than last time) and finally got ADAS. Small price increase, but maybe its worth it?

2. New Mazda 2

The new Mazda2 will debut in 2021 and will pack a new 1.5-liter, three-cylinder SKYACTIV-X mild-hybrid engine. The current Mazda 2 is already very nice to drive, hope this one can improve on that and also be a bit cheaper. If 100k plus...then it will be a bit difficult. Interesting to see how this turns out!

3. New Honda City hatchback 

By now, you’re probably pretty familiar with the fifth-generation Honda City, which was launched in Malaysia in October this year. However, there’s more news relating to City before 2020 draws to a close, as the B-segment sedan will be joined by a new hatchback body style in just a few days’ time.
