All wapcar bro... Who has experience with this classic Smiley Mazda 3? Yesterday my damn Proton persona engine burst.. I directly sold it off without repair.. need a good replacement for a 3 years drive… What's the common cons of this car? Major service anything?

My bro owns a similar smiley gen Mazda 6 2.5L engine (Ford currently using the same engine family for their EcoBoost lineup, so spare parts are not scarce) so far reliable, no overhauling or so, parts need to be changed here and there (alternator, arms bushings, etc.) but it came at a cost; the spare parts are a bit expensive for a Jap car.
