I collected my new car a couple of months ago and I was stuck thinking between coating, waxing, polishing, PPF, etc…
here and there delay and then i did nothing but standard wash and wax.
I thought PPF already unnecessary because the original paint is already pretty good, but then...the worst thing happened ๐ญ
I tried being careful, but it still had a lot of scratches.๐
So now no choice lo but have to do PPF. Just wanna share with you then what are the types of PPF you need to fix it.
No matter what brand, the type of the PPF must be TPU. This is cause when you peel it of, the paint will not be affected!
Some tips on how to choose for PPF:
-
make sure got warranty
-
go to a reputable shop, find a good place and not just any cheap shop. this kind of things, cheap doesnt mean good
-
Do your research!
This is how my car looks like after it’s done. Shiny, and the scratches are no more. ๐
Finally, I sincerely suggest that everyone should paint protective film if possible. Don’t postpone it until there are scratches like me. Although it can be polished, it will damage the paint thickness.
Therefore, paint protective film as soon as you buy the car!
