Just like the M5, it was powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 mated to an eight-speed M-Steptronic automatic gearbox. As a result, this allows it to generate a total of 600bhp and 750Nm which translates into a 0-100km/h time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum top speed of 250km/h. However, if you opt for the M Driver's Package, the top speed will be set at a staggering 302km/h.
