Should i get an e36 sedan? I’ve always been thinking of getting a BMW e36 318i but I’am unsure how the maintenance on these would be like. I’ve posted this on Reddit before and spoke around with some owners at car meets and found out that it’s relatively cheap to maintain and gets good fuel consumption. Anyone here wanna share some thoughts and advice?

In terms of Malaysia though, yes, maintenance prices may be comparatively higher as it's a slightly-older Continental car. Some parts might be a bit hard to find though, which can add on to running costs. Most importantly you should start with finding a good unit - the E36s are fun cars with RWD, so chances are many of them have been hooned around. Try to find a trusted dealer, and if prices for one are too good to be true, then it probably is.

I got an idea from my friend that you can get the bmw spare parts from singapore if possible. It is much cheaper than malaysia. hope can help you bro.😊

Imo, initial repair to make it run smoothly can be quite high if u buy all new ori parts but this is normal for other brands too...
