Gais!
If your car is noisy when the air conditioner is turned on like mine, it means that the air conditioner compressor should be replaced!
It’s most likely this problem (although can be other stuff too) but since mine was that problem, I thought I’d share with you what went down.
Speaking of replacing air-conditioning compressors, I suggest you choose the original ones, not the “OEM” ones!
Today I will show you the difference between them 😜
From the get-go you can already see a bit of a difference.
The one on the left is from the original factory while the one on the right is from the OEM factory. OEM is usually correct and perfect, but this one probably is just a fake which is terrible for an aircon compressor.
This place is a bit longer than the other fake one.
It is very obvious when the two air conditioning compressors are placed together.🧐
This one comes from the OEM factory.
I personally feel that the original air conditioner compressor looks more sturdy.
The difference at the bottom is not very obvious.
The air conditioner compressor I removed from the original car was dirty and it had Korean stickers on it - makes sense since its a korean car lol
Interestingly, the new air conditioner compressor is a little different from the one removed from the original car. Just looking at the pulley can find the difference. Its lifespan has yet to be tested.
In a word, you get what you pay for, I still recommend choosing the original air conditioner compressor.
The price directly determines its materials and quality, and for parts like these, save your heart and headache and buy original.
Finally, I hope my sharing can help you, welcome to share your ideas below~😄
