Proton V70 - yes or no? Is the Proton V70 just another rebadge job? Why is everyone saying it should be the next Proton? I hope it’s not completely identical like Geely binyue boyue etc...I feel that proton is now completely a subsidiary of Geely, with no in-house developed products, all models are from Geely. What do you think guys?

Well...what to do when you are not the Boss anymore. I think it is better Proton retain the V70 instead of going into a higher segment X90. Give three to four years then only can lauch the X90. This is to give the middle income group a chance to own a car. The X90 will only cater for the higher income group.

Proton should publicly communicate whether they will launch the Jia Ji / V70 or not ASAP to stop rumours and potential buyers going for other brands offerings. Anyhow I think they should sell it. Fast. 2 SUV done. Now cater for other segment. MPV like this is going to sell for sure. The 7-seater SUV can wait.

Jiaji will be lök how the X70 and X50 is. As per agreement it will be 3 cars and Jiaji will be the last one. Anything after that will be ground up.
