Basic information about my car
2001 Proton Saga Iswara 1.3S (Bought with MYR 44,200)
Actually I get the car from my father as he likes to drive the Proton Wira Aeroback 1.5 GL auto. The reason I want this car is this is the first car of my family and I didn't see anybody else buying it. Also this is my weekend car, I take my friends to KFC and enjoy our time there.
Car Selection Process
I had a budget of MYR 50,000
Model(s) that I have considered include: 2019 Proton Persona Standard Manual
This car is very reliable and maintainance cost is relatively okay and spare parts are very cheap to buy and easy to find. My dad and my mum didn't drive it anymore as they like the Wira more.
I have already done 10,000 km
It's an iconic car and it's still driving really nice. The engine still didn't blow or anything which surprisingly very capable engine.
Pros & Cons
Pros
The car can achieve 380 KM from full tank and I guess fuel economy is not bad. It has average space for carrying people around and the best of it is that the spare parts are very cheap and easy to find.
Cons
The suspension is too bouncy especially when driving on the pud holes. This car didn't come with power steering from factory.

This car is very loyal, ready to take us on a journey without fuss. It makes me smile when I did the cornering in tight bends.
In the future the car will get its new paint job, refurbish interior and engine overhaul.
