Reasons why I bought this car

For Working Purpose. I need to travel long journeys often for my outstation project site and I need to drive every weekend back to my hometown in Melaka. Previously I drove myvi and after most of the time in a car i had a back pain.

Reasons why I chose this car

I remember when i was 9 years old around 2002, i'd been reading the Motor Trader magazine at my uncle's house and i remember this W220 when they launching in by that year it cost for rm650k for the starting price, so been wondering my whole life to give a go ahead of this Car if i had the shot and im not study at all.

User experience

I have already done 60000 km.

it is a really good car although is already 15 years old. It is still Reliable and very-very Durable for the facelift model. Very comfortable car to drive every day and the excitement to drive it every day and thank god I have no more back pain.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Comfortable Car.
• Durable Car.
• Much of leg and headroom.
• Can Adjust the height of the car (Airmatic).
• Can drive highspeed and stable during heavy rain.

Cons

• Not fuel economy driving in town.
• Need to drive every day to prevent any damage of the car sensor.
• Airmatic takes a lot of cost to be replaced.
• So much annoying sensor in car that display on screen.
• Hard to park in small space because it is longer than Vellfire.

Summary

Actually Mercedes S Class is a very Durable and Comfortable car so far as I can say. I'm very satisfied with this car performance it can reach 220km in highway easily and I don't need to buy a sport car, I can switch the sport mode and it turn gear to sport mode and the Airmatic also will turn to sport mode. A very good value to buy for the aftermarket value. If I had extra money maybe i will trade this Car for W222 when the price will drop below Rm100k in maybe next 2-3 years, because the new w223 already will be in Malaysia next year.

Lastly, some interesting events

Early this year I had to change 2 of my Airmatic struts and it cost around Rm4K and make me broke for a couple of months hahaha. Most of the time people assuming me as a chauffeur as I am young and I keep it standard without changing any of the sport rims or else as young people do to their car.
