Basic information
Honda FK2 Civic Type R 2015
Reasons why I bought this car
I was letting go of my beloved Z33 Nissan Fairlady due to family life and needed a 4 door car in future.
Car selection process
Recond dealer only have Subaru Impreza Sti and Golf R with an Auto transmission.
FK2 Civic Type-R only 8000+ were made worldwide so its quite rare.

User experience
Being my weekend car, I never drive it every day, however, it gives me smile for a mile as the car has a well response in "type R mode", sometimes you're going too fast in winding roads without noticing it. I owned an FR sports car those day and notice FF Honda Hatchback were on par with the handling even with people always said its a 'wrong wheel drive'.
The cabin is quite comfortable. It has dual-zone climate control, blind-spot assist, emergency auto brake, pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, auto high beam and people at the back have enough legroom. the back compartment can fit most of the daily grocery stuff.
Pros & Cons
Pros
-6-speed manual transmission
-Superb handling
-4 door hatchback and a lot of space around 498L capacities.
-306 horsepower in stock form enough for overtaking.
-easy to maintain as its a Honda.
-comes with GT Model a lot of safety tech & feature compare to FK8 Malaysia model.
Cons
-No Spare tyre only have a tyre repair kit, 19-inch rubber tyres with low profile don't last long.
-Suspension no comfort mode like FK8 model, ride comfort quite hard but not as hard as Honda Type R FD2.
-Brake produces a lot of dust.
-rear suspension were torsion beam like myvi but not similar honda said its an H type torsion beam.
-the standard height of this car quite low so you have to be careful on very high speedbump and deep pothole.
-No warranty as it is a reconditioned car.

Summary
In the old days, I started my first car with pre-owned Honda EF3 Sedan with no good conditioned. Never give up and follow your dreams, no matter what kind of car you drive be happy. There is no perfect car so don't look for perfection, instead find a car that suits yourself.
Lastly, any interesting events?
A group of bicycle kids somewhere 12-14 years old noticed my car as a Type R and asked me regarding it, I'm quite surprised as when I was that age I didn't know about cars. ;-)
