2004 SUBARU LEGACY BP5 SPEC B RM40K
2.Reasons why I bought this car
This Subaru Legacy was previously belonging to a good friend of mine. I was having an intention of purchasing a car for a fair price of around RM35-40k and had a few options in mind.
3. Car selection process
I had a budget of:RM35-40K
Models that I have considered include:
BMW 325i (E46) MSports, Subaru Legacy BH5
This car of mine was offered for sale by my good friend who knew I intended to add another car to my collection of cars. He offered me the car at a very good price way below market. I made an offer i couldn't resist.
4. User experience
● I have already done 140,000km.
●Subaru Legacy is a very good car for a daily. It has a reliable engine from the EJ20 series. Being a wagon, it was looking like a sleeper but with a mighty beefy powerful 300hp engine under the hood. Many have mistaken it for the mediocre Caldina but no Caldina can come close to the power, handling and feeling of driving a BP5. One of my most awesome ride.
5.Pros& Cons:
Pros:
Well engineered. Strong engine and great handling. With a low CG engine, that is undeniable. I must say, one of the more supreme Subaru range of cars. Eventhough it is a 16 years old design, it has an evergreen looks that had brought Subaru to create a newer generation Levorg based on the BP5 chassis to up keep with the current Subaru wagon cult.

7.Summary of my story in one paragraph
The Subaru Legacy BP5 is an awesome daily drive with a spacious cabin and a large boot space. The beefy EJ207 with Dual AVCS and force inducted by a newer generation twin scroller turbo is superb for my demand in driving up hills and a great cruiser for long distance traveling.
