Hope Proton can improve themselves rather than become Malaysia's Geely car distributor. Whatever how other Malaysian appreciate the geely rebadge cars, like X50 and how successful those cars are, I still think Proton should update their tech, design their own car (not geely) and build their goodwill and reputation. This is what I as a Malaysian want to see.

If proton can build their own reputation, many many years back they can afford to do that, what’s the reason proton are gaining so much of popularity? It’s all because of geely, without geely, proton is nothing. Ask yourself back, would you buy the old proton car or the new proton with geely? It’s not that proton cannot, but it’s the government can’t.
