Honda Civic vs. Toyota Corolla: Which one is better to buy?? Hey friends, I've been thinking about changing my car, and I want to make a decision between Honda Civic 1.5TC and Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8E. Both of their prices are within my buget, but I don't know how they're different in any other way, can anyone give me some advice in terms of resale value, refinement, performance, comfort, reliability and so on? Which one is better??? Thank you!!!!

I can't comment much on altis because i've driven only once. But damn it's so smooth and comfortable and the handling so good, so relaxing for cruising along. That are the reasons i would go for altis all day. My sister own civic since fd until the current one. My verdict for civic. I really don't like civic's seating position, so slow. I don't why but i can't find my comfortable driving position. Drive train is undeniably powerful compared to altis. But that's the only thing i like about civic. I would sacrifice look and a bit on drive train to have comfortable and relaxing car to cruising along. But hey at the end of the day. It is all about a matter of preference.

Personally speaking, the Civic has more power, but the Corolla has more reliability.

If you have elder people like your aging parents to fetch, forget about the civic. It's ride height is too low for them and their knee is weaker.

Haiya..go test drive..here got pro honda or toyota kaki..buy the 1 that you test the best...diffrent people have diffrent perception of reliability, comfort and performance.
