My wife and I did came to this question once. But we endup choosing x-trail because of the rather boring dashboard of outlander. And also no rear vent aircond.

The outlander is nice, but not that NICE as xtrail. interior quality is much better....

X-Trail is more tahan lasak. It's also more reliable than the Outlander for sure.

I tested both, outlander is certainly more comfortable. but overall quality xtrail > outlander
